Are you a parent of a child in primary school? If so, you may be interested in taking part in a research study examining the influence of factors affecting blood pressure in parents and children.
Researchers in the School of Psychology and the Centre for Research on Occupational and Life Stress are currently conducting a research
study examining the influence of social networks and family characteristics on physical health. Previous studies suggest that our close relationships, including family relationships, are important in determining how we cope with stress and how stress affects our physical health. The aim of the present study, funded by the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS), is to examine these effects on blood pressure in parents and children.
If you think you may be interested in participating in this study, or would like to hear more, please email Ann-Marie Creaven at email@example.com.
